The Costa del Sol is a place where the sun shines more than 320 days a year, where the remnants of Roman, Moorish and Christian rule clash, and is full of luxury resorts – such as Marbella – that are world-famous. Could there be a better location in Europe to buy a rental property?

Investors from abroad play an important role in the Spanish property market, with their share of transactions in the past years ranging between 10 and 15 per cent. Among the locations chosen by non-Spanish investors, real estate on the Costa del Sol is leading the way.

The Spanish property market is currently experiencing its best period in a dozen years, with the number of purchase/sale transactions increasing from quarter to quarter. One of the locomotives is real estate located on the Costa del Sol – the southern coast of Spain.

A major contributor to the excellent performance of the Spanish market is foreign investors, who now account for 15% of all property purchases in Spain. Among them, investors from Poland are gaining an increasingly strong position.

Properties in Spain – both modern luxury villas and stylish flats – are an interesting investment option for foreign investors, whose share of transactions in the Spanish market is increasing. From our perspective, the growing interest from Poles is very good news!

The period of the last 18 months can be described as a real investment boom in the Spanish property market. Such good results have not been recorded since 2007, which was considered a record year.

Investment in real estate is an indispensable direction for urban agglomerations. The latest figures, published by the regional authorities of the province of Málaga, show an unflagging interest in real estate in this region of Spain.
