“A summer scramble in the middle of winter” was the slogan of the 33rd Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which also took place once again in Spain – on the Costa del Sol, i.e. on the coast of the sun. We already know that so far we have collected around 45,000 euros, or almost 200,000 zlotys.
The 33rd GOCC Finale on the Costa del Sol was held at Caseta Cepyme Chiringuito on the Recinto Ferial in Fuengirola. The fun started already in the afternoon, and the auction included, among others, a dinner with Dorota Szelągowska, books from Katarzyna Dowbor, a pun with Sonia Bohosiewicz, a speedboat cruise with Joanna Koroniewska and Maciej Dowbor, a photo from Marcin Tyszka, a dinner ‘by MasterChef’ from Michał Fabiszewski or an album ‘Poland’ autographed by Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski and a book dedicated to Jolanta Kwaśniewska.
Thanks to the support of local – including Polish – companies and entrepreneurs, the 33rd WOŚP Finale became a unique blend of Polish and Spanish culture. In addition to tasting typical Vistula delicacies such as żurek (traditional Polish soup), bigos (bigos), sausages, borscht with ravioli or apple pie, visitors could enjoy salsa and bachata shows, while musical accompaniment in the form of a unique mix of genres was provided by Jan Policki, Bibi Matita, Sebastian Klimas, Alicja Staręga and Kama Solo Act. There was, of course, the Light to the Sky, and the joint entertainment attracted a total of around 1,500 participants.
