In the second quarter of 2024, Poles purchased as many as 1005 properties in Spain, and a total of 1,805 houses and flats on the Iberian Peninsula were already purchased by our compatriots in the first half of 2024. According to data from the Registradores de España, the share of Poles in the Spanish property market is also at a record high, amounting to as much as 4.63% in Q2 2024.
The record results confirm that the perception of Spanish real estate by Poles has completely changed over the years. Agnieszka Kostrzewa – founder of Agnes Inversiones, the largest, oldest and most recognisable Polish real estate agency on the Costa del Sol, which is celebrating 18 years of presence on the Spanish market this year – talked to Anna Gołasa of Puls Biznesu about the dynamics of this market on the Iberian Peninsula, touching on, among other things:
- motivations for buying property in Spain,
- Prices of houses and flats on the Costa del Sol,
- Why Poles are investing in the Iberian Peninsula.
