In 2023, another record was set by Poles. In the whole of 2023, our compatriots bought as many as 3,118 properties in Spain, 142 more than in the previously record-breaking year of 2022. The latest figures from the Registradores de España show that Poles are now permanently among the top buyers of Spanish real estate.
In Q4 2023, Polish investors acquired 658 flats and houses in Spain. This gave our compatriots 9th place in the ranking of foreign investors with a market share of 3.35%. The first three places were occupied by the British (9.8%), the Germans (7.32%) and the French (6.06%). In an interview with Anna Golasa of Puls Biznesu, Agnieszka Kostrzewa – founder of Agnes Inversiones – discussed, among other things:
- record figures for property purchases in Spain by Poles,
- the share of the primary and secondary markets in the transactions made,
- financing property purchases on the Iberian Peninsula,
- Prices for flats and houses on the Sunshine Coast, or Costa del Sol.
