Marbella is a special place for many reasons. The city has an excellent gastronomic offer, a wide range of beach clubs where we can enjoy the warm Spanish climate, a world-famous marina for yachts, and an original exhibition of Salvador Dali sculptures in the urban space.
Avenue towards the sea
One of Marbella’s most famous and characteristic streets is Avenida del Mar. This is the road that connects the old town with the promenade, popular with visitors to the Costa del Sol. Along the entire length of the promenade you will find plenty of atmospheric restaurants, cafés and places offering shelter from the Spanish sun, such as gazebos and fountains. However, the most distinctive feature of Avenida del Mar, which sets it apart from other streets in Marbella or the rest of Spain, are the amazing sculptures by, among others, one of Spain’s most famous artists, Salvador Dali.
