Motorbike Grand Prix of Spain and Andalusia
Fans of rallying will gather at the motorbike circuit in Jerez for great sporting excitement. The GP of Spain and the GP of Andalusia will take place over two weekends, on 29 April 2022 and 1 May 2022 respectively. The competitions will take place in the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 categories.

Picasso of Malaga
Did you know that Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga? And it is here that an exhibition devoted to his work in the context of the paintings of the old Spanish masters can be seen this spring.
At the Museo Picasso Málaga, from 22 February to 26 June 2022, the exhibition ‘Face to Face. Picasso and the Old Masters’. Organised by the Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla, the exhibition juxtaposes the Cubist master’s paintings with works by El Greco, Francisco Pacheca, Giovanni Battista Caracciola, Francisco de Zurbarán, Cornelius Norbertus Gijsbretchs, Bernard Lorente Germán and Diega Bejarana. The audience will thus be able to see how the art of the brilliant Spaniard is related to the achievements of the old masters.

Aracelitana Festival
The ceremonial peregrination of the statue of Our Lady of Aracela always begins on the penultimate Sunday of April. Adorned with flowers, the image of Our Lady of Aracela travels on the shoulders of several ‘santeros’ from the Sanctuary of Aras to the centre of Lucena. There, adorations, prayers, parades in regional costumes and firework displays take place in May, traditionally the Marian month for Catholics. The religious events are accompanied by sporting and cultural events. On the first Sunday of June, the image returns solemnly to the Aras Shrine.
Montilla-Moriles wine tasting
It’s a feast for wine lovers from the sunny vineyards of Spain! From 20 to 24 April in Córdoba, you can taste Montilla-Moriles wines, produced in 20 regional vineyards.
The Spanish know how to celebrate! During the tastings, you can see amused crowds on the streets of Córdoba, treating themselves to tapas. As part of this wine festival, there are also concerts, shows or sommelier lectures combined with tastings.
