The Spanish property market has stirred up a lot of excitement in recent months and is often in the headlines of the Polish media. This is due not only to the ongoing discussion about the direction of housing policy on the Iberian Peninsula, but above all to the increasing participation of our compatriots in this market.
In 2024, Poles set a record by purchasing as many as 4213 houses and flats in Spain. This is more than 1,000 more (an increase of more than 35%) than in 2023 and more than 3,000 more than in 2019, an increase of up to 320%. Speaking to Paweł Blajer on Biznes24 TV, Agnieszka Marciniak-Kostrzewa discussed the latest market data, as well as:
- an increase in the number of property buyers moving to Spain permanently,
- The cost of living in the Iberian Peninsula, which is lower than in Poland,
- the outlook for the Spanish property market in 2025.
