What is golf?
Golf is a sport played individually, involving hitting a ball into a hole in as few strokes as possible. Golf courses have 18 holes with a stroke standard (par) of 3, 4 and 5. A round of golf is roughly four hours, outdoors in a natural setting. The courses are designed on large expanses of green which allows you to relax and practice. Golf is a unique sport because you can practise it in your own time, planning a short practice session or spending a few hours with friends. It is one of the sports where the amateur career is very extensive, with lots of tournaments with great prizes. The social aspect of the game is also interesting, with golf clubs creating an almost family atmosphere and fostering the meeting of new people.
Why golf?
Golf is the ideal sport for those who want to relax outdoors as well as for sports enthusiasts looking for new challenges.
