In times of the COVID virus epidemic, country-specific regulations and travel laws change frequently.
We try to keep our customers informed through social media about the current situation. Each autonomy in Spain at its level may have different restrictions in place depending on the number of cases infected with Covid 19. We will focus on Andalusia, where we operate.
We currently have the following restrictions imposed in Andalusia:
- the wearing of face masks is compulsory at all times
- social gatherings are limited to 6 people
- curfew in force between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- shopping centres, restaurants, bars open until 6 pm
- movement between the municipalities of the so-called munincipios is restricted, so you can only enter or leave them for a legitimate reason and on the basis of an authorisation
On 10 December, a further announcement will be made regarding the lifting or extension of further restrictions.
NOTE!
Since 23 November, Spain has required travellers arriving from risk countries to have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival, to be presented at ports and airports. The requirement applies regardless of the nationality of the traveller and does not apply to travellers crossing land borders. The requirement is in line with EU Council Recommendation 2020/1475 of 13 October to coordinate sanitary models implemented by EU countries.
The requirement will be included in the SANITARY CONTROL FORM, which each passenger is required to complete before entering the country. Other control measures currently applied to passengers, such as temperature measurement and visual inspection, will remain in force. The Sanitary Control Form will ask about a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain. At any time the passenger may be asked to produce a certificate of the negative result. The certificate must be an original in Spanish or English, in paper or electronic format. If the Form is not completed online, either through the QR code received at www.spth.gob.es or on the Spain Travel Health-SpTH application, it can be completed on paper before boarding. In that case, the original certificate of the diagnostic test must also be presented.
